In addition to doing laundry and packing for my "book tour," I am losing myself in this mini-series.
I can't decide which daughter I am more like, Molly or Cynthia.
I can't decide whether Netflix streaming video is the best or worst thing to ever happen to me.
I can't decide whether I should pack boots or flip-flops for San Diego.
Well, probably running shoes, once security catches me signing books, again, I'm gonna hafta make a run for it.
A Book Signing? Too cool!
ReplyDeleteAnnie, I love this movie! If you like it, I would recommend North & South, also by Elizabeth Gaskell. It is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteToo bad I won't be in San Diego soon. Have fun! :)
I wonder who you could show up to be. Oh wait! Doesn't your friend Sarah P have a book? You could just hang out in Borders in your costume, and if anyone gets near "your" section" you can offer to sign their book! Double dog dare ya!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Suzanne! North & South is so good, I just bought it for my hubby man to give me for my birthday! (That's how I do things, haha!)
ReplyDeleteI will be seeing Wives and Daughters soon! I'm excited!
Because we've set parental controls on our Netflix streaming, we can't stream any movies that are unrated - we can't override the controls on the streaming application. We CAN override it for discs coming in the mail, so that's how I have to do it for all the wonderful period films! It's annoying, but SO worth it to keep our teenage son safe from unrated movies that are NOT clean!
I need to see wives and Daughters.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your book signing. Flip-flops are the way to go when in San Diego.
Great series. I'd say I'm more Molly but my sister would say I'm Cynthia. So, I guess it depends on who you ask. ;]
ReplyDeleteI triple dog agree about North and South. Love it! I own the series and got the book for Christmas. Of course, the book is a wee bit different. But then, books usually are.
I just finished Wives and Daughters, and it was excellent!
