This is how I lose readers...

...I post a Bollywood dance number.

It's still my blog, I tell ya. Mine, mine, mine. And it wouldn't be a good weekend at my house without a Bollywood movie. This is what I am going to watch, er, re-watch this (dateless) weekend.





This dance number is from Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Warning: Blood and guts at the end.

Here's the breakdown.

When U.S.-based Siddharth (Shiney Ahuja) ((hot)) visits his Indian hometown with his new wife (Vidya Balan) ((one of Bollywood's best actresses)), he insists they stay at the ancestral home, laughing off family members' warnings of ghostly goings-on in the mansion. But events soon make him reconsider his beliefs. As unexplained and terrifying occurrences arise, Siddharth calls on his doctor friend (Akshay Kumar) ((also hot)) to help solve the mystery. Manoj Joshi co-stars in this suspenseful thriller.

Loving Bollywood is not out of the ordinary for me and a billion Indians, but I am the only one of my friends that I know with an extensive Bollywood DVD collection.

    I enjoy some shows that are really meant for kids, like Avatar the Last Airbender, and Teen Titans. D and I have been known to stay up watching these after our kids have gone to bed...
    I will admit that my only Bollywood exposure has been through your blog. If I could understand what was going on (subtitles) I might watch a whole movie. I do enjoy good music and dancing!

    Along the lines of Heffalump, Disney tween shows are what I watch. I like that they're clean, and generally involve little controversy. Wizards of Waverly Place, Phineas and Ferb, and the Zack and Cody shows.

    I don't see it as out-of-the-ordinary, but some people tell me this is: I L.O.V.E. Tillamook's White Licorice Ice Cream.

    My bro just under me has the extensive DVD collection. We rent from him.

    I like to buy clipart for church publications. Maybe that's why I get the callings I do? Heavenly Father wants me to get good use of our money. Hmmmm.

    When I first read your blog (many, many moons ago) and you made reference to Bollywood, I didn't have a clue. Still haven't seen it--may have to make a trip to my video store ; )

    Heff- I have to admit to watching Hannah Montana without the kids.

    Diane- I love Shep and his eyeliner. He is such a pretty boy. I had him on constantly during Hurricane Katrina.

    Thorny- White Licorice ice cream? That is out of the ordinary.

    Klin- Call him "Brother Red Box."

    NCS- The blood, maybe not so much guts at the end of the clip is my limit.

    Watched the whole thing. The only Bollywood movie I've seen is "Bride & Prejudice". (was that the name?) I liked it.

    I like to eat pretzels & York peppermint patties together. Just smash a little of the York on a mini pretzel twist. Yum!
