Don't say that you weren't thinking the same thing.
But, she rocks! Not my style, but she rocks.
*********
I was so disappointed in the girls tonight. I'm not excited about any of them.
But,

I give Kady, the impressionist, the "Most likely to improve" award.

  1. I TOTALLY thought the same thing!! About the elvira chick. But I don't love her yet. I did like Kady and the last girl....the Yes girl.

  2. I'd say the week goes to the boys. Many more talented guys than girls this year. But, MAN, they all have amazing qualities about them. This will be a great season.

  3. Messy-haired Brooke is going to have to dig a little deeper, although I think she has a lot of potential to make us proud.

  4. Amanda the Rock Chick's mother is actually a pretty attractive woman.

  5. That is so funny! I actually only saw the last few singers last night and so I missed the elvira girl.

The blonde girl you pictured sang well, but I kept wishing she would open her eyes all the way when the judges were talking to her. She looked half asleep. Her impersonation was great though.

  6. Mary- you are right. She did Britney better than Britney, but that half-asleep thing has got to stop. The judges were right, when she is just being herself, the light goes off. Don't you think she looked a little mad at their comments? She should have gone off, that would have showed them some personality!

  7. Oh man, now I'm behind two shows.
I have not watched this one yet, but I did see Rock girls performance, I like her voice but I didn't like the song she chose. Oh well, thanks for the recap.

  9. I thought it was sad/funny when Simon compared Kady to a pencil. LOL!! Although I would have taken it as a "skinny" compliment. PLEASE call me a pencil Simon!!

It's interesting that there is a girl and a boy that are LDS this season.

  11. NCS- Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to watch the Oscars now. I usually just watch the red carpet and call it good.

I'll be posting my best and worst dressed picks after the show.

  12. I actually turned the channel and watched other random shows throughout the night because I was so BORED! They've got to kick it up a notch because that? Well, that was just SAD!!

  13. Not feelin' the love for the girls. I watch a tiny bit. When the kids catch up, I'll watch it all, but not excited about them.

  14. I agree with your assessment on Rocker Chick. I also am excited to see Kady improve, the tone of her voice is great.

It was a bit boring last night.

  15. Annie, that was mean. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

  16. I had never put those two together, but now that you say it she does look an awful lot like both of them. I agree she is good, though she is not my style either. Hers was the only performance I watched. I had to continue with my chick flick fest instead.

  18. I love Amanda Overmyer!!! Probably because she isn't totally boring and cookie-cutter like the other girls.

Also, she's from Indiana like me and has my great-grandma's surname. We might be KIN!
