Anniethology on Idol: The Final Idol Whooz ur daddy?!

David "Babyface" Archuleta
"Monchichi"
Someone give that kid a barf bag. I felt sorry for him, he looked like he was about to pass out. David Archuleta is going to win. I'll bet my blog on it. If he loses I will shut down Anniethology for good. There ya have it! I'm laying myself down on the line for this prediction, although I think I'm pretty safe.

  1. Come on Thorny, where are you? You are usually the first to comment on Idol night.

  2. I am with you 100%. I predicted him to Mister the moment I heard him.....you don't know if I really did or not....that is the beauty of it....but I actually did.

  3. Sorry for the delay, Annie. I was watching the "Dancing With the Stars" Finale. Um, yeah, he's kinda like a hedgehog with food poisoning. Cook shoulda rocked tonight. That would have given Idol more credibility with its critcs, but "Archie" will be easier for Clive Davis to control. I'd be happy with either one winning, how 'bout you?

  4. I agree with you! But the idea of Anniethology being shut down is blasphemous!!!!!!

  5. Excuse me. I don't care who wins idol. Sorry, but I just don't. I do however, care very much about Anniethology and NO kid named David is worth shutting it down.

You'll have to find another blog to shut down.

  6. I'll do it. I swear I will. I will untie the apron and walk away!

  7. I don't agree with you. Although, both did well and Cook could have done better.... Cook will still win. AND HE SHOULD. Cook rocks. Archie... is... well... a boy. And he could get better and needs more experience.
No matter what, they will both have CD's out... and even IF Archie wins, Cook will sell more CD's.

    Amen.

  8. As much as I like D.C., you can't underestimate the fanaticism of the Archettes.

  10. I ♥ both Davids, but mostly David Archuleta. I was thinking David Cook would win, though.

  17. you pegged it on the archuletta creature.

I'd like to see him finish high school first.

    He's just a baby.

  18. Last night I kept thinking about your comment that D.A. is really a baby parrot (or something like that)--but I thought last night he really did have some emotion and guts and maturity behind his songs.

Oh, and I think your blog is totally safe.

  19. Dear Annie, I am gonna have to disagree with you there. I pegged Cook a few weeks ago, I have my radio AI consultant job and a candy bar bet on this one.

Please don't shut down this blog when he looses tonight. Please!!!

    :)

When David Cook wins tonight I am starting an official AI blog next season ::::sillygrin::::

  20. D.C. or D.A. D.C. or D.A. I'm getting a little nervous here, people.

Are the producers of A.I. setting us up for the biggest upset in A.I. history? The judges seemed solidly for Archuleta? Except for Paula, but I am not conviced she knew where she was at last night. I joke. She seemed very lucid.

I have no doubt in my mind that the judges know the results of the call-in votes from previous shows. Do you think they built up Archie just to pull the rug out from underneath him?

Archie seemed so fragile last night. I hope he can handle it emotionally if he doesn't win.

Your comments have got me a little nervous. I've got my hand on the plug, just in case.

  21. Monchichi means ha-pi-ness....

But the question is - which David would make America happy?

  22. Fashionista went "AWWWW".

HEY! I'm also thinking he's going to win. Last night he did way better that Cook: It's true yo
AND if you don't look at Archie while he sings, it's not bad at all :)

    PS: No quitting.

  23. David Cook will win and then I will be sad to not be able to read your blog anymore. ;-)

  24. Don't worry, Bloggers. Annie loves us all too much more than she loves the baby hedgehog to pull the plug. Right??? RIGHT???

And Annie, Let's not forget the success of Clay Aiken (don't you luv Spamalot?) and Chris Daughtry? His band was the #1 selling band of 2007! But then again, Where's Justin Guarinni these days? Oh, yeah, stuck in the audience being tortured by the AI producers..."YOU could have had THIS! MmmWwwwahahahahaaaaaaa!"

  25. Get your hand off the plug! We love you too much!

  26. DO NOT QUIT!!!

    DO
    NOT.

In fact, don't watch tonight. Don't read Teh Internets, the newspaper...

  27. Well, Annie, it's been fun. Sorry to hear about your impending retirement. What will you do with your time now that you won't be blogging?

  28. I forgot about Monchichi...no wonder why we all loved David so much.
