I've been reading your blog for a while now and love it! I have twin boys too and was also shocked to find out that I was going to have not one but two babies. They're just 10 months old, but such fun. I love your sense of humor, thanks for bringing a smile to my face:)
I have twin step-daughters. They were 2 when we got married. Since they are Izzy's age we have triplets on a regular basis. I'm glad I didn't have to birth them, but aren't you too cute??
Wow, Annie I'm so impressed that you were able to carry both full term! I can't even seem to carry one that far! What an accomplishment, especially getting back to your pre-12-month pregnant size! Happy birthday to your boys :)
I cannot fathom having that much weight in my uterus! My girls were 6.6 lbs, and 6.13 (3 years apart). That is two very good sized babies!! Have you had a tummy tuck? You don't have to answer that. :)
I loved reading this story, especially the part about the sheepish whistling boys (once when I was pregnant, some boys OINKED at me!) and the part where you wanted to make a run for the bushes! Hahaha! :D
Happy Birthday to your boys. I stopped before our families traditional twin births on the 4th pregnancy. Both my grandmothers and one of my twin aunts and a great grandmother.
I know I missed out, but physically my body wouldn't have been able to carry them:(
Happy birthday to your twins!!! I am so impressed that you made it that far and at how big they were. I only made it to 35 weeks and together they barely weighed 9 pounds. We too found out rather early (10 weeks) and were totally shocked! The pregnancy was a surprise to start with and then to find out there was 2. What!?!
Tell me if I am the only one here who CANNOT stop staring in utter amazement at this picture!!!! It's not like a "train wreck" stare or a "are you really going to eat that stare"...more of a like..."how in the H E double toothpicks did you survive that????" stare!!! Annie you ROCK!!!! Wonder Women WHO???
Nancyface- It was too funny. Just looking at me through my car window, they couldn't tell I was carrying a wide load, then when they saw me and got all embarassed, I literally doubled over and laughed out loud!
Mrs Monkeybutt- We call ourselves "The Clark Ark". On my side of the family the kids come two by two. All the cousins have a cousin of coordinating age.
SoDak- I look at the picture and get made at my doctor. I think he shouldn't have let me get so bloated.
