Christmas Anniethology-style Part I

"My Martha" and I went on a Holiday Tour of Homes this weekend. All the homes were beautiful and inspiring. I immediately came home and made some improvements to my Christmas tree.
"But Annie," you ask, "your tree was already pretty. What more could you have done?"

I added peacock feathers! Everything is better with peacock feathers...

...even this guh-lady!

And I added a mascot... a peacock. We haven't come up with a name. I'll take suggestions.

More fuzzy pics of my Christmas decorations. Santa, I've been a good girl. Please bring me a new camera.

Early Christmas Present to Myself

I realized on Thanksgiving that I was pathetically low on salt and pepper shakers. When I saw these on Etsy.com it was chicken love-at-first-sight.

  1. The peacock feathers remind me of e-dub.

The chicken shakers are lot more fancy than the picture you showed me....I like 'em!

  12. Love it all!

My tree seems so boring now.

I want a pretty marital bed but alas I have no headboard. Maybe hubs and I could wrap ourselves up in lights.

  15. Elfin Magic, huh? I wonder if hubs will let me put lights above out married bed?

I love how creative you are. I ordered a new 9' tree because I have a vault that can accommodate it. I'm giddy with excitement. It should be here by Friday and then I am decorating it. Blue and Silver/White with a touch of purple. It looks good in my head and since I am decoratively challenged we'll just have to wait and see.

  17. Your tree is beautiful! When I was a little girl, my neighbor raised peacocks. I loved seeing them...and sometimes I got to have a beautiful feather of my very own! :)
