One of the most excited things that happened is that I saw a black bear walking down the street in front of our condo at 11pm at night! He didn't even run when I was calling to the others to come have a look. Here's some pics! *****
"Oh, little town of Telluride how still we see thee lie..." This is the view from the gondola.Pictures edited to protect the innocent and super secrety. How many Paynes can you fit in a telephone booth?
Check out my teeter-totter(sp) skillz!
This is as close as I got to Tom and Katies house.
Well...its closer than I will ever get to their house.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a fun time!
Fun!
ReplyDeleteLooks like such a beautiful place. I was so hoping for photos INSIDE the house--but I'm with heffalump!!!
ReplyDeleteI guess they didn't invite you over, then. How sad. They probably don't even realized what they missed out on. From all the blogs about Colorado you would think that they'd have a clue. But alas, we will admire the pics of the outside of their home and know that they missed out.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had fun.
The bear was probably on his way to Taco Bell for his nightly "4th Meal."
ReplyDeleteNow you've got me singing Christmas carols in my head...I'd better get myself to Target for some early Christmas shopping! ;)
LOVE your happy pictures! :D
That is one white shirt.
ReplyDeleteAww, look at Mini-me!!! She's so cute! I love her pose.
ReplyDeleteSo fun! What a beautiful place! Too bad you couldn't get closer to Tom and Katie's place... I've heard those body guards can be a little rough...
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't you bring your Bat-rapeller and scale the walls of their house? I'm so disappointed. I thought you were more adventurous.
ReplyDeleteCute pictures of the fam. I'm anxious to get out and see some pretty fall foliage.
Well, that's pretty darn close!!
ReplyDeleteLove the teeter totter pic!
How fun to spend a nice weekend with the family! :D Who needs TomKat anyway?
ReplyDeleteThat looks like it was really fun! Glad you got to get away with your adorable family!
ReplyDeletejust last week i was listening to a story on npr about bears in vail and aspen (and it sounds like telluride as well) and how the ones up there aren't afraid of people and will break into condos and houses and steal food. scary. tomkat's house looks NICE. i can't believe i just said tomkat.
