  3. Hubs put the lights up and set them to music last week. Then he unplugged them til Thanksgiving. I am working on the Eagle Court of Honor and then . . . . . the tree. So there will be two crazy ladies.

  6. And I think I'm improving because I no longer wait 'til the 20th of December to buy a tree...

    Hi!

  8. Girl you are nuts! But I like you any way. I think the main reason why I would not do that is because it drives me nuts that my kids run off with the ornaments and I could not stand dealing with that for more time than I had to.

  9. So pretty! They're both lovely!

I'm trying to decide if I want to put mine up before we leave for Utah, or wait till we come back. The day after we get home is 12/1 and it just seems wrong to wait till then...

I'll have to do it sneakily so my no-Christmas-until-after-Thanksgiving hubby doesn't see. :)

  10. Millie, Shazzy is the same stinkin' way. I think that as long as the turkey carcass is sitting in the garbage in the garage, it is time to get the halls decked. Maybe this year I'll just do everything but the tree.

    Before Thanksgiving...that's crazy. ;)

  12. I don't have a tree up, but I have been listening to Christmas music since August...does that count?
Baby B really likes Christmas music.

  13. Is that crazy lady available on weekends? I love my house decked out, but I don't so much love the actual 'decking.'

    I can pay in chocolate...

  14. Wow! And she let you in the house to take pictures?

  15. Dear Crazy Lady down the street,

Could you at least have waited until the day after Thanksgiving. I think there is a rule that you must first give Thanks!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Will cut you a break this year! I understand your love for christmas. My children are making their want list already.

  17. Crazy lady...I just found your blog! I hope it's okay I'm leaving a comment :) As far as I'm concerned (and my kids), Christmas is ALL YEAR! We've been listening to Christmas music since summer, too. If my hubby would let me, my tree would be up too! Smiles, Mindy

I long for clear lights but I am out voted in my house of men.
    Sigh.
