Shame on me!

Shame on me for letting the top of my desk get this bad. I need a little social pressure to clean this up. Don't tell me it's okay. Don't tell me you love me anyway. Don't make excuses for me like I must be really busy. Shame me! Shun me! Take away my priviledges. This is just unacceptable.

  1. Yeah, it's a mess. Mine looked like that until I saw yours and cleaned it up. My office is a space to create and be creative. My desk is blank and now so is my mind.

  2. Clean that right up, Missy! Or no Target for you!

P.S. Your "covers on her way to Mass" reminded me of Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves: "Who told you to cover?"

  3. Whatever. Mine is ten times worse, and I'm in no big hurry to do anything about it. I guess I should be a social pariah.

  4. Good grief girl. It looks like my computer table, and most people I know are better organized than me. Get going girl!

  6. Shame on you! Go clean it immediately!

Then come over here and clean off mine because it looks exactly the same.

  7. Mine is clean....for the moment. Mostly because we have guests here this week and I would hate for them to see how we really live!

  8. I won't shame you just simply because I'm shocked. For some reason I think of you as being perpetually tidy at any given moment. But then again, didn't you once do a post of your van? or was that someone else?

  9. Annie, how mean of you to post a picture of my desk! What a cruel joke! ;D

  10. Oh, I just saw that Tori posted the same thing. Great minds think alike! :)

  11. Wow, and I thought my desk was a disaster! Mine is just covered with yarn, knitting projects, and books--in equal numbers unfortuately.

  12. What you need, is a computer armoire, (which is what we have) a desk with doors, then you can just close the doors on that unsightly mess!

  13. Hang your head girl, hang your head.

  14. Your desk RULES! I can totally see parts of the top.

Mine? Forget about it. I'm not even sure where in the room it's located anymore. :)

  15. Well, I tried shunning you for a couple of hours. Is it clean?

  16. It looks "comfortable" though! As long as you can see your monitor and keyboard, then you can post on your blog, and that's all that we really care about. :-)

  17. I spy "The encyclopedia of etiquette" :D

Aw my Annie, it's ok that your desk looks like that. At least your desk is not IN your van.
Then we'd be having a different discussion.

  23. you know how I feel about a good mess. The world is in need of more of them.

  24. get a bigger flat screen and by scale that mess will look smaller.

  25. You make me proud. Only a brave, brave woman would put her very private desk on display for all the blogging world to see. It's good to know I'm not the only one who hasn't exactly tidied up the keyboard/monitor area of the house. Thanks for sharing. :)

  26. I hide every thing behind my desk to assuage my guilty, guilty soul.

Candy wrappers, IRS statements, pink bills.....
