Annie's lost soul and a product endorsement

I thought I lost my soul. I realized it had been awhile since I had cried. Then I read this and this and watched this...

...and I cried for the first time since, I can't remember when. I DO have a soul afterall. Hooray for having a soul!

If you don't have one of these three tier cake stands, don't walk, RUN! to Michael's and buy one. They make even cupcakes from a box and frosting from a can look good!

  1. That video is so powerful. I've seen it before and whew - it is moving.

    Hadn't seen those articles - thanks - I needed a cry tonight.

  2. As a sister with sisters, those articles nearly did me in.

For the first time in my life, I'm really nervous about the future of our country. And just the slightest bit scared.

  3. I think my heart melted into a puddle. I hope all the best for Stephanie and her family. Somehow it makes me want to simplify my life a lot.

I've seen the video before too and I just hope the message gets out to enough people to make a difference. Right now, this country makes me sad.

  6. I love the Catholic video. There's so much we have in common with them - I think (almost) more than we DON'T have in common.

  9. Chelli- I don't mind at all. I took it from Pedaling, but I've seen it posted all over the blogosphere. I think it is a real motivator for those of us who value every life, no matter how small.

I also think it was beautifully done. I also like how they didn't say who to vote for.

I honestly don't think Obama or McCain can save unborn babies.

  10. I've had that video posted in my sidebar for a few weeks. It's so good and sums up my thoughts exactly.

And those articles had my eyes bulging and red for 2 days!

  13. I know that if something like that happened to me, Voices Carrie would take my kids. Fashionista would take care of me at the hospital and Mike the Headless Chicken would perform at my benefit.

  14. I love those articles. I read them a couple of days ago and cried. And then I tell Ted about the articles...and he cries even when I retell it.

Umm...cutest cupcake display ever. Can I be you?

  15. Love the stories. Feeling a need to come to your house and eat. I wonder why that is?

  16. I have already been crying over those articles...they made me sad that baby B doesn't have a sister to help her out later in life, and me glad that I have four sisters who would help me.
Costco has a four tiered stand like that, and you can adjust the position of the tiers so that they are more spread out or more stacked...I don't have one, but my sis does...

Klin-Come on over. I've more cupcakes than I can eat. And I can eat alot!

Heff-Dear Santa, Along with the new scanner will you bring me a 4-tier cupcake stand from Costco?

  18. Are your babies gorging on Halloween candy? They got a limited amount last night, but mine were up way before me this AM and I found them watching VeggieTales, drowning in a sea of chocolate wrappers.
