I cleaned out my pantry on Thursday. In the way-way back ,this is what I found!
Beat that! Ha!
A dozen tentacles measuring over a foot and a half long.
Rosie is not afraid of it. Look at the shadow. Rosie look's like Medusa!
This is for Jean Knee. If you haven't already, check out the funny swimsuit pics she put on her blog.
Aren't you super glad you came to my blog today?
Yeah, yours definitely beats mine. I thought it was bad when the eyes just starting poking through the holes in the bag. You must have one serious pantry for those to have not gotten busted sooner.
ReplyDeleteZackly! Just how big *is* your pantry that someone didn't see onea those twigs snaking between the SpaghettiOs cans?
ReplyDeleteYep- you win. But my moldy rice left in the rice cooker all week was pretty bad...
ReplyDeleteThe last time I forgot about potatoes I didn't have sprouts, I had a big smelly liquid mess. Ewww....thinking about it hurts my nose and makes me gag.
ReplyDeleteThat is wild!!
I think the dry Fruita air kept it from getting gooey. Conditions must have been perfect back there.
ReplyDeleteI bet if you put a few red bows at the ends of the tentacles you could use it as a decoration or a house warming gift.
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing!!! I'm with Bad! How big is your pantry?
ReplyDeleteyou really should win a prize for that.
ReplyDeleteI think that your bag of potatoes would almost qualify for plant. I have had some long sprouts, but not THAT long. Mine always came with the gooey, messy smell, too :(
ReplyDeleteYou win.
Yup. SUPER glad.
ReplyDeleteYou win,that is wild!
ReplyDeleteDon't you wonder what would happen if you just dug a little hole in the garden and plopped it in?
ReplyDeletetori--I do the moldy rice in the rice cooker thing too. What's up with that?
Hey! That's amazing! Last time I left one of those in my pantry, I pulled out a bag of black gooey smelly OOOZZZEE. It was DISGUSTING and stunk up the house for days! Your pantry must be drier and cooler than mine.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is amazing, but in a sick-nast way. It looks like if you got too close it would wrap it's tentacles around you and swallow you up for a mid-morning snack.
ReplyDeleteYep! Your rotten bag of taters is WAY better than mine! Those little tater tots of yours had such an amazing will to live...oh, that's just so cute! ;)
ReplyDeleteO MY Goodness ROFLOL-- so after the Photo shoot did you plant it? Did I miss the spring wardrobe update form your is it sister or cousin?
ReplyDeleteSomething was stanky in the house but we couldn't figure out what it was. Tirns out someone had put a bag of potatoes in a Rubbermaid storage container and then shoved it to the back of the pantry.
ReplyDeleteI won't tell you any more only to say that maggots were involved and I threw the whole thing away, plastic container and all.
